Mysterious 4,000-year-old city discovered where civilization began
A French archaeological team recently discovered the remains of a lost ancient city at Kunara, in what is now Iraqi Kurdistan, near the Zrgros mountains. According to researchers, the city may have been an important center of an ancient mountainous people called the Lullubi. While the city's name still remains unknown, further excavations of the site will take place in the fall.
